Bunyip Sanctuary – BMX track renewal | Bunyip
The Bunyip Sanctuary BMX track has been identified for renewal in the adopted 24/25 Capital Works program and in accordance with the implementation plan of the Skate and BMX Strategy.
Project description
In the 2024/25 financial year, Council will be undertaking consultation to understand how the community currently use the Bunyip Sanctuary BMX track and how to make the space more inclusive and inviting.
Community feedback will inform the design process to upgrade the reserve.
The renewal is expected to be completed by mid-2026.

Progress update
Bunyip Sanctuary BMX track has been identified for renewal and we’re seeking feedback from the community to ensure that the renewed reserve reflects the needs and desires of the local residents, creating a more usable and engaging space for all visitors.
