Project description

The existing toilets will be demolished to make way for the construction of male and female toilets, including ambulant toilets, and a new unisex accessible toilet. These upgraded facilities will ensure participants and spectators can fully enjoy events at the Cockatoo Little Athletics Centre.

The toilet facilities will add to the recently completed works delivered by the Disability Access Upgrade Program, including two accessible carparks, pram ramp and footpath access to the pavilion. A mobility mat is also available to support access for mobility aids onto the grassed track and field.

Funding

This project is fully funded by Council’s Disability Access Upgrade Program, emphasising our commitment to ensuring that people with disability have access and can participate in activities within the Shire.

Progress update

Construction is expected to be completed by mid-December 2025.
