Project description
Council is upgrading the existing pedestrian crossing located outside the Cardinia Cultural Centre on Lakeside Blvd, Pakenham.
Works will include:
- installing flashing amber lights
- installing new streetlights
Located in a busy area, the crossing is used by people accessing the lake, Cardinia Cultural Centre, shopping precinct, and a school.
The upgrade will improve accessibility and visibility, alerting drivers to pedestrian activity, especially during peak times.
We appreciate your patience as we work towards safer roads and better infrastructure for our community.
Funding
Works are funded by Council and are included as part of the Footpath Expansion Program and annual Capital Works program.
