Project description

Council is currently completing footpath renewal works along Lakeside Boulevard in Pakenham.

As tree roots have been lifting the concrete footpath and damaging nearby drainage, Council is completing remedial works to rectify these defects.

Sections of the concrete path will be completely replaced, and minor drainage improvements will be completed to rectify any outstanding issues.

Tree removal

Four trees have been identified as needing removal as they are no longer viable and need replacing.

Once the footpath works are complete, new trees will be planted. Please note that sizes of the new trees may vary and not be an exact match of pre-existing mature trees.

These works are funded by Cardinia Shire Council

Progress update

Works are underway and are expected to be completed by end of September 2025, conditions permitting.
