Project description

As part of the Australian Government’s 2024-25 Black Spot program, Council is planning to upgrade Leppitt Road and Sailsbury Road, Beaconsfield Upper from Beaconsfield-Emerald Rd to Toomuc Valley Rd.

Works will include:

• Installing safety barriers
• Signage
• Delineation improvement works

The Australian Government’s 2024 – 2025 Blackspot Program focuses on improving road safety at locations where several serious crashes are known to have occurred or are at risk of occurring.

Funding

Works are fully funded by the Australian Government’s Black Spot Program.

Progress update

• Tender now complete
• Works expected to start frommid June 2025

Council welcomed the announcement of funding from the Australian Government’s Black Spot Program in August 2024.
