McGregor Road closures

Project description

Please allow extra time to commute around the Pakenham area from Wednesday 17 July to Friday 16 August, with planned disruptions to take place as part of the Victorian Government’s Big Build works. 

Once completed, the upgrades will connect growing communities and ease congestion. Closures will include: 

  • McGregor Road closed southbound between Livingstone Boulevard and the Princes Freeway (17 July – 16 August): McGregor Road closed southbound between Livingstone Boulevard and the Princes Freeway, from Wednesday 17 July to Friday 16 August. Detour via the Princes Highway, Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road, Cardinia Road and the Princes Freeway. 
  • McGregor Road closed southbound between Webster Way and the Princes Freeway (until 17 July and 16 August – late September): McGregor Road closed southbound between Webster Way and the Princes Freeway until 17 July and again from 16 August to late September. Detour via Henry Road and Cardinia Road for City-bound traffic or Park Boulevard, Honeyeater Way, Webster Way, Bald Hill Road and Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road for Gippsland or Koo Wee Rup Bound traffic. 
  • McGregor Road closed at level crossing between Rogers Street and Henty Street (17 July – 16 August): McGregor Road closed between Rogers Street and Henty Street from 17 July to 16 August 2024. 

 

Be aware this weekend there will be overnight closures of the Princes Freeway between the Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road ramps. Also, Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road between the freeway and SouthEast Boulevard is closed over the weekend. There is a northbound closure during the day and a full closure from 7pm.
