Project description

Council is upgrading the currently unsealed and unmarked section of Oxford Street in Lang Lang.

Oxford Strett be upgraded into a dual lane access road with on street carparking and a shared footpath. Once complete, Oxford Street will connect directly into Nellie Street.

Works will also include:

• kerb and channel
• line marking
• lighting
• signage
• drainage improvement works
• landscaping

These road upgrades will improve pedestrian and driver safety and access to services at the existing Lang Lang Bowls Club, and will also improve connectivity and access to other amenities and future developments around Lang Lang.

Funding

These works are funded by Council

Progress update

Council has appointed A1 Civil as the contractor to complete these works on their behalf.

Works are expected to start from Monday 12 August 2024.
