Project description

As part of the Australian Government’s 2023-24 Black Spot program, the Henry Road, Village Way, and Caversham Drive intersection was upgraded.

Upgrades included:

• installing fully controlled right-turn signals with lanterns around the Henry Rd intersection
• an additional long queue loop for the eastern approach right-turn lane. 

The Black Spot Program funds road safety initiatives such as the installation or upgrade of traffic signals, guideposts, line marking and barriers at locations where several serious crashes are known to have occurred or are at risk of occurring.

Works were fully funded by the Australian Government’s Black Spot Program
