Jim Parkes Reserve is located between Beaconsfield’s two major commercial precincts and provides a welcoming green space in the heart of town for local residents and visitors in the surrounding areas to enjoy.
Project description
This project has now been completed, transforming the reserve into a vibrant and accessible space for the community.
The upgraded Jim Parkes Reserve now features:
- A new play space for children
- Accessible pathways
- Comfortable seating areas
- Sheltered gathering spots with BBQs and picnic tables
- Informative interpretive signage
- Improved drainage and beautiful landscaping

Progress update
Construction is complete. We would like to thank the Beaconsfield Progress Association and the community for their support and involvement in the project, from Masterplan consultation, through construction, and to the official opening.
