Lang Lang Child and Family Centre - Building Blocks Partnership

Cardinia Shire Council is partnering with the Victorian Government as part of the Department of Education’s Building Blocks Partnership to deliver a new child and family centre for Lang Lang.

The new facility will feature two kindergarten rooms, allowing Council to provide a total of 118 kinder places for local families in the Lang Lang area.

Project description

The Victorian Government will design and construct the modular building that will include two kindergarten rooms, one consulting room, outdoor play space and off-street car parking.

Cardinia Shire Council recently completed road upgrades in Oxford Street that will provide safe and easy access to the new kindergarten. Works included upgrading Oxford Street from an unsealed and unmarked road into a dual lane access road and construction of a new footpath and on-street parking.

Project benefits

The growing population in Cardinia Shire creates demand for new facilities for our young residents and their families to enjoy.

The new preschool will enable Council to provide additional funded kindergarten places, a wonderful new space for local families to get support and create new memories, and for young residents to learn, connect and build new friendships.
