Project description

As part of the Australian Government’s 2023-24 Black Spot program, McDonalds Track in Lang Lang was upgraded between Kettles Road to Steeles Road.

Works included:

• installing guideposts and audio-tactile line marking,
• providing a sealed shoulder south-east of Range Road,
• and installing a flexible barrier on the outside of high-risk bends. 

The Black Spot Program funds road safety initiatives such as the installation or upgrade of traffic signals, guideposts, line marking and barriers at locations where several serious crashes are known to have occurred or are at risk of occurring.
