Project description

As part of the Arbor Development in Officer, the developer has upgraded a section of Starling Road.

Works included upgrading Melbourne Water Drainage Service Scheme pipes, upgrading in accordance with the Officer Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) cross section and establishing connections to Arbor development.

The current road width of 6 metres meets the Officer PSP requirements and can safely accommodate two heavy vehicles.

Native vegetation and existing services have prevented the construction of some PSP elements like indented parking bays and footpaths.

Funding

Current works are funded through the Officer DCP as per the Officer PSP and by the developer.

Progress update

Works on this section of Starling Road started in September 2024 and have now been completed by the developer.
