Construction of Starling Road section for Arbor Development frontage.  

Works will include Melbourne Water Drainage Service Scheme pipes, upgrading to PSP cross section and connections to Arbor development.  

Funding

Funded through the Officer DCP as per the Officer PSP and by the developer.  

Progress update

Works started in September 2024 and are continuing.

Update

Council understands the community’s concerns regarding the constructed width and finish of Starling Road in Officer.  Council is actively seeking options to address these concerns.

As the developer are delivering these works, we are closely with them on options to achieve an improved outcome.   The community have and will see the current planned works continuing, whilst we concurrently work on these alternative options – this is to strike the right balance, whilst also not delaying future residents seeking to receive their titles.

Some finalising as per the current designs, and opening of the road may occur, whilst this work continues.
