As part of the Cardinia Creek Regional Parklands project, the Victorian Government is expanding the parkland near Officer.
The parklands are being designed in consultation with land managers, Traditional Owners and local communities.
The Cardinia Creek Regional Parklands Future Directions Plan will identify the values and priorities for the parklands and guide how they should be managed and protected.
Project description
The existing parklands along Cardinia Creek from Beaconsfield to Clyde North will be expanded to provide 508 hectares of natural creekside scenery to relax in, exercise and enjoy. There will be better access into the parklands and new walking and cycling trails and picnic areas.
