Developers are planning to deliver the intersection at Kenneth Road and Thewlis Road in Pakenham.

These works will tie into the duplication works and Princes Highway intersection upgrade.

This project is not being delivered by Council

Progress update

These upgrades will cater for future traffic and population growth; however, they are currently in the planning stages by developers, pending approval considerations.

What to expect in January 2025:

• The Kenneth Road entrance from Thewlis Road will be closed until further notice.
  • Further upgrade works are required to be completed on the Princes Hwy and Thewlis Rd intersection before the Kenneth Rd intersection upgrades can be completed and fully connected.
• To access the new primary school located off Thewlis Rd, drivers are encouraged to take detours through Grandvue Boulevard and Worthington Boulevard.
• Minor traffic management will be in place along Kenneth Road intersection.
• Electrical works will begin along Thewlis Road in January 2025.
