The newly built Kurmboon Child and Family Centre located in Pink Hill Boulevard, Officer is now officially open.
Since the start of Term 3 2023, this brand-new facility has been delivering high quality kindergarten services to 3-and-4-year-old children.
Located in the Timbertop Estate, the facility will provide the local community with early childhood and family services.
The facility’s indigenous name ‘Kurmboon’ means ‘tree blossom’. The name was chosen following consultation with the Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation, historical and community groups and the local community.
