In 2021, Council completed a redevelopment of Toomuc Recreation Reserve in Pakenham.
Project description
The junior football and cricket pavilion is being redeveloped to include:
- universally accessible change rooms and amenities for players and umpires.
- canteen/kiosk (servicing both ovals) and cool room
- storage areas
- first aid room
- external spectator viewing area
- timekeepers’ room.
Improvements will also be made to the existing little athletics and baseball facilities, including upgrades to the canteen, storage space, change rooms and amenities, first aid room, accessible public toilets and external covered viewing area.
Funding
Council, the Australian Government and the Victorian Government’s Sport and Recreation Victoria Fund have jointly funded this project.
