Worrell Reserve – Tennis Court Lighting | Emerald

Right in the middle of Emerald, Worrell Reserve offers up-to-date sporting facilities close to community venues and natural surrounds.

Project description

Tennis courts are set amongst the natural surrounds of the area.

Upgrade works include replacing the lighting on courts 1-5, including poles and upgrading the lights to LED.

Council and the Victorian Government are jointly funding this project.

Site works started in mid-August 2023 and are now completed.

Poles and lights were installed in early January 2024.
The storms on Tuesday 13 February caused widespread damage and power outages in the area, delayed testing and commissioning of lights.
